Here is Bryce’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“We were contacted by Bryce’s owners that they needed to re-home him because they were retired, they traveled in their camper and left him and 2 other larger dogs in outside pen with feeder. They wanted to place him in an outside home as he had been raised…we were told a white lie.
“He came to us at 56 lbs and could hardly walk or get comfortable . Panting a lot and most comfortable on tile floor. However he knew he was in a place that he would be loved and cared for with Foster Carolyn. He immediately went into his crate, they left door open and he appeared at end of their bed the next morning saying ‘Morning, Mom and Dad!’ His entire demeanor has changed in the 10 or so days he’s been there…a happy boy despite a lot of testing done.
“A sweetheart and a kind soul that we feel fairly positive he has found his forever home with outstanding applicant who wants 2 corgis. Prospective owner got down on the floor with him and they had a grand time snuggling.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Bryce get the medical care he needed to help get ready for the next happy chapter of his life. Thank you!
Bryce was rescued in South Carolina.
