The Story of Buster Brown

Last Updated: October 26, 2015

Rescuer: Walton Salley at salleyw@bellsouth.net

Here is Buster’s story, in the words of his rescuer:

“Buster Brown…this 3 yr old youngster was surrendered to a high kill shelter in South Carolina because he didn’t get along with the owners new intact male and…..THEY THOUGHT THE OTHER DOG WAS CUTER!

“When he arrived he was so sad. When shelter volunteers saw his sweet face looking after his leaving owners they cried. Shelter life, living in a pen caused this boy to be anxious all the time. spinning in circles and psychologically he was wearing down. The shelter volunteers saw how smart and trainable he was and he needed to get out soon.

“We were able to rescue Buster and put him in the care of a wonderful foster where, after a few months of care, he has returned to the brilliant, confident, happy dog he once must have been.

“Buster is incredibly smart, loving, and very agile. His new adoptive family love him already.”

CorgiAid supporters have helped Buster get shined up on his health care, so he could move forward into the happy life he deserves. Thank you!

Buster was rescued in South Carolina.

This dog is not available for adoption.
