Here is Cody’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Cody was an owner surrender by the parents of a daughter who left him with them 4 years ago. They had a Pom and just inherited another Pom from a deceased friend and wanted to keep the newest dog and not Cody, the corgi, so he came into rescue.
“Cody is very sweet and mellow.
“Cody’s teeth are in poor shape and besides a cleaning most likely will have some extractions. Also because he is 10 years old, he will be required to have a senior blood panel and we would like to have a urinalysis done. He also needs an updated rabies and bordetella shot.
“As it turned out Cody had periodontal disease and had 27 teeth extracted. He also had an ulcerated cornea and got medication for that. The eye still seems to be irritated so on the next vet visit on 6/26, I’m going to ask the vet to re-evaluate the eye for stronger medication if need be.”
CorgiAid supporters are helping Cody get healthy, so he can look forward to the next happy chapter of his life. Thank you!
Cody was rescued in California.
