As much as we all wish that every rescue story could have a happy ending, unfortunately reality is not that kind or gentle.
Tissue alert.

Poor Cooper was run over by a truck and landed in the shelter, unable to walk.
Rescue was called, and he was whisked to emergency. Everyone was full of hope that he could be helped back to a comfortable healthy life.
Sadly, the extent of his injuries (including spinal injuries) meant that the kindest thing was to help him out of the excruciating pain he was clearly suffering.
