The Story of Liberty |

Here is Libby’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Liberty (Libby for short) was found on July 4th on the Indian Reservation at an abandoned dump scavenging for food. A wonderful Samaritan found her and contacted us and we immediately said yes bring her on over. Liberty, for being in such rough shape, limping, fleas, thin, sores from looked to be dog bites, crawled right over and into my lap looking for love and acceptance. We have found her elbow was damaged, pulling tendons and muscles away from bone, but it does not stop her…she loves other dogs and adores her human interactions.
“Her temperament is amazing being she had to have been out at the dump for a time..the injury to her elbow, along with her tapeworms, her pre-estrus, starving, sores she is one of the most loving and attention seeking pups ever…”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Libby get the health care she needed, including a diagnosis of her elbow issues. The orthopedic surgeon who reviewed her xrays believes letting her be is the best thing. She may always limp after exercise, but she doesn’t let that get in her way.
Thank you for helping Libby get ready to move on into the next happy chapter of her life!
Libby was rescued in Arizona.
