The Story of Lizzy |

Here is Lizzy’s story, in the words of her rescuer:
“Lizzy’s owner died. The housekeeper found the woman and the dog. The housekeeper called my friend at Purina who in turned called me. My friend picked Lucy up and brought her to me.
“Lizzy is the sweetest girl and has never shown any aggression. All she wants is to be petted, all of the time!
“Lizzy came to us not spayed and with a horrible mouth. She was under weight and she was very shy.
“Lizzy has recovered from a mammary glad removal which was cancer. Prognosis: One gland was removed there is a 75% chance that other mammary glands will develop cancer.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Lizzy get up to speed on her health care, so she can continue to being petted for as long as possible. Thank you.
Lizzy was rescued in Missouri.
