The Story of Shane

Last Updated: November 10, 2015

Here is Shane’s story, in the words of his rescuer:

“Shane caught the attention of a citizen who noticed him running at large on several occasions. After returning him to his owner multiple times she suggested that rescue might be a good option. He said he would chain Shane up instead. Eventually, Shane broke free of his chain and the owner ultimately agreed to send Shane to rescue. Shane has Ehrlichia and heartworms and will need to be treated.”

CorgiAid supporters are helping Shane get rid of the nasty parasites he brought with him into rescue. Thank you!

Shane was rescued in Oklahoma.
