Here is Spirit’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Spirit is a 5 year old corgi/chihuahua mix that came from the Orange County animal shelter, after being confiscated from a training facility along with other dogs due to neglect. He was deemed a medical case by the shelter, due to a heart murmur. “He is a very sweet, timid dog, that is slowly coming out of his shell and becoming a dog. He will make a wonderful companion for a person with any level of experience.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Spirit get a consultation with a cardiologist. Thank you! Luckily, the cardiologist finds that Spirit’s heart murmur is very mild, and shouldn’t cause him trouble.
Spirit was rescued in California.
