The Story of Franklin |

Here is Franklin’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Franklin is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi that was brought in as a stray to the Humane Society. I am a corgi mom myself (I have four of my own) and have been active in corgi rescue in my area as an individual (not an “official” rescue). I was contacted to help find a “hospice foster” for his final days/weeks/months as he has trouble breathing and appeared to be in declining health.
“He is 10-13 years old, appears to be a purebred corgi, and was very unkempt and smelly when I pulled him from the shelter. He was briefly examined by a vet at the shelter and it was noted that he had congestion in his lungs and may have a heart condition.
“UPDATE 11/1/16 He was taken to the vet on 10/31 and it was determined that he has bronchitis and a sinus infection. Hopefully his prognosis is better than we first anticipated.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Franklin get up to speed on his health care. Now that his bronchitis and sinus infection are being treated, he is feeling a lot better. Thank you!
Franklin was rescued in Idaho.
