The Story of Roger |

Here is Roger’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Roger was in the process of being left at a shelter when a young lady intervened. His rear left leg was injured and very swollen and hurting. This injury had happened more than 3 wks (vet determination) before we took him. We took him in for care and his leg was actually able to be pinned, but he may be left with nerve damage due to the injury going untreated for so long. Given his age (9 months), we opted not to have a heartworm test done at this time, we have started him on ivermectin and will re-visit the heartworm issue in 6 months.
“He is very loving and sweet.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Roger with the medical care he needed, to give him the best chance at good mobility in the future. Thank you!
Roger was rescued in Texas.
