Here is Stumpy’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“We received a call from the shelter on Christmas Eve asking us to help Stumpy. His owner passed and the people that were supposed to take care of him and find him a new home surrendered him, along with his dachshund friend, to the shelter the next day. Our rescue picked up Stumpy right away and his little friend went to an area dachshund rescue. His mouth was in terrible need of a dental, he needed to be neutered, and he seemed to have some urinary issues which are still being diagnosed and treated. He was very confused at first, but is adjusting very well.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Stumpy get the health care he needed, including a clean and healthy mouth. Thank you!
Stumpy was rescued in Texas.
