Here is Jack’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Jack was with a family in Santa Maria who turned him in as they were moving to a new place where they could take in the husband’s mother. Jack lived with 3 children under the age of 6 for the last 3 years. The family said his only negative was when someone came to the door, he barked.
“Jack had a tumor over the right eye that was pretty large. We removed it before it got bigger.”

Jack was rescued in California.
