The Story of Neville

Last Updated: November 26, 2020

This is Neville’s story:
Sadly, not all rescue stories have happy endings. Neville’s owner contacted rescue because she couldn’t afford his treatment and meds. She had previously rehomed him prior to this and that owner returned him because of a UTI. Neville had been sick and untreated much longer than they were told. At the emergency vet, it was determined that he likely had pancreatitis/ketoacidosis which commonly accompanies diabetes. Although Neville was a relatively young dog of about 5 years of age, he went untreated for too long to recover and he was humanely euthanized.
