The Story of Danny

Last Updated: August 18, 2021

Danny’s owners made the difficult decision to rehome him after their daughter developed severe allergies to him that caused her to have breathing issues. Danny has an idiopathic autoimmune disease that caused him to develop Immune Mediated Meningitis. His family did everything they could to ensure he was diagnosed and treated for this disease. He had been well cared for but his condition means that he is always at risk of relapsing. This condition could flare up if he is vaccinated, has a dental, undergoes surgery or experiences certain stresses. Danny will live as a permanent foster, be monitored and should be able to live a full and happy life.
