Henry

The Story of Henry

Henry is a Pem/Cardi cross. A woman bought him from a “breeder”, then discovered that he was deaf. The “breeder” wouldn’t take Henry back. Owner relinquished him to rescue. Henry was quite fearful at first due to being crated all the time, as the owner had no idea how to train him. Henry has since learned many commands using sign language, loves the other dogs in his foster home and enjoys meeting new dogs and people. Henry presented with breathing issues – even though he is a very young dog. He has been given the usual preventative treatments and will be given a airway wash and culture to help determine what might be going on.
