Miss Daisy

Miss Daisy: Granted 6/7/2022

The Story of Miss Daisy

Miss Daisy was left in a backyard by her owner. The owner would only come once a week to give her food and water, but a neighbor made sure she was fed and watered regularly. Notes were left for the owner about the neighbor’s concern and ultimately she was surrendered to the neighbor. A foster was found in Abilene, TX and then she was transferred to Lubbock and finally to rescue.

She needed to be spayed with routine bloodwork. Lab noted that she was positive for anaplasmosis and she was put on medications for that. She was also covered in fleas when she came in and needed vaccinations.
