The Story of Bernie

Last update 02/13/2023
Bernie is a sweet old soul that was surrendered to rescue from someone that “rescued him” from a rehoming situation, thinking all Corgis play well together and their other Corgi needed a playmate (3 yr old male). Unfortunately, Bernie likes to be the king of the home and it did not work out. Bernie was examined on intake at the rescue and it was determined that he had a slab fracture on a molar and a luxating patella that was very loose. He had routine tests, maintenance care, vaccines, and lab work. He was given the dental care he needed to take care of the slab fracture, recovered well and is now happily living in his new home.
