Ella

Ella came into rescue with her mother, Sandy. Her owner could no longer care for her due to her husband’s recent stroke and level of care she needed to give him.
She had bloodwork, an ultrasound, a heartworm test and received her vaccinations, the usual preventative treatments and was spayed. She, like her mother, was found to have inguinal hernias, unlike her mother, her inguinal hernias are enlarged and will require 2 separate surgeries.

Ella is very sweet even though she wasn’t treated very well in her previous home. She and her mom were confined to an outdoor kennel where they didn’t get much human interaction. Thankfully, since she’s been with her foster mom and family, her personality has begun to show that she loves people and other dogs.
