The Story of Gemma

Last update 11/30/2023
Gemma was surrendered with her housemate, Maverick. The rescue was told that they were a bonded pair and got along beautifully. They were placed in a home that would have been a great match but Gemma was a bully to Maverick and wasn’t good with other dogs. Gemma soon found a foster home with no other dogs. Gemma was overweight, needed dental work, basic exam, bloodwork, heartworm testing, urinalysis, flea/tick prevention and checked for potentially having diabetes. She was fine, but also had some arthritis or other rheumatic issues. Gemma got the care she needed.
