The Story of Ferbus

Last Updated: May 04, 2009

Here is Fergus’s story in the words of his rescuer:
Fergus was found as a stray. He is an older corgi who had some issues walking and was obviously a backyard boy as he was extremely filthy and had huge hot spots everywhere.
“Fergus came in with a bad mouth and what we thought was a huge deformed toe. It turned out that the toe had been infected for so long the infection had entered the bone and the only answer was to remove the toe in order to prevent the infection from spreading. He also had to have 2 teeth extracted.
“Fergus is now feeling much better with the hot spots, toe, and teeth take care of. Before he rarely moved and now he plays with toys, sings and loves to bother the cat. He runs and plays and is once again enjoying his life.”
CorgiAid supporters have helped Fergus get healthy, so he can lead the happy retired life he deserves. Thank you!
