Here is Pal’s story, in the words of his rescuer:
“Pal was turned into rescue because he has allergies and his owner felt he was ‘too young to put down,’ but she wasn’t willing to spend the money on allergy testing or even change his food. She also stated that she had wanted to use him for breeding but he was just ‘too fluffy’ and not up to standard. After speaking to the vet, who was absolutely delighted to learn that Pal was in rescue now, we feel Pal’s mild itching was probably environmental. He’s a super terrific dog who will make a great pet.”
